Leveraging the MAST Human Intelligence App to Fight Against Human Trafficking
On January 25, 2024, at the Department of Special Investigations, the working group convened for a crucial meeting to mark the commencement of Phase 3 of the "I'll Follow You" Project – a groundbreaking collaboration between MAST Human and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). The project focuses on leveraging the MAST Human Intelligence App to combat human trafficking and forced labor through innovative technology and collaboration. The meeting was chaired by the DSI’s Deputy Director-General.
The working group acknowledged the successful implementation of Phases 1 and 2, highlighting the milestones achieved and lessons learned. The core focus of Phase 3 is to expand the user base of the MAST Human Intelligence App, aiming to reach a significant milestone of 100,000 users soon. The users will represent a diverse demographic, including both Thai and migrant workers, with a specific emphasis on those employed in the fishing sector.
